COLUMBIA CHOIRS is an international award-winning, community based, non-sectarian family of choirs training singers 3-years-old through adult. It is a fun, welcoming place to learn how to sing better, while making new friends! Since 1984 we have been bringing singers together for international award-winning musical training and performance opportunities. We provide connection with children and families of similar interests. We believe everyone can learn how to carry a tune and have a variety of opportunities to help our singers grow personally through singing.

We train singers pre-school through adult utilizing rehearsal facilities in Redmond (serving all "Eastside" communities along the I-405 and I-90 corridors), Auburn (serving communities in South King and North Pierce Counties) and Renton (serving communities south of I-90 and surrounding Renton). All rehearsal locations are in King and Pierce counties near the "Emerald City" of Seattle, Washington State (U.S.A.). Approximately 400 singers come from 30 communities and 15 school districts to rehearse once and twice weekly.

Auditions/Interviews are by arranged appointment. Columbia Choirs does not rehearse during the summer, but appointments for audition may be arranged in mid-August and early September when the local school year resumes in September. more...

Children's Singing Festivals

Columbia Choirs sponsors singing festivals each year as an outreach to children and their families. They are an excellent "window" into the type of musical training and experiences we offer. They also give school music teachers an opportunity to recognize and reward their most outstanding music students. more...

Support Us

The choirs are supported by the Columbia Choirs Association which is a Washington 501c3 tax-exempt corporation governed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees. The non-profit, charitable purpose for which the Association is organized is to encourage and assist the Columbia Choirs in the development of talented singers within the geographical area of King and Snohomish Counties, surrounding Seattle, Washington State, U.S.A., and to enrich the cultural experience of such children and members of the public. more...
